We had the whole restaurant to ourselves- food came out hot and was full of flavour On the higher end of the price scale- for the portion sizes (honey chicken). Was a quick quiet meal before flying home.

I come here quite often and never disappoints. Always fresh vegetables and meat and good quantity for money. Tonight I got the combination short soup and it was absolutely delicious, also a combination fried rice with small prawns all was delicious and fresh as always.

What a gem! I’ve driven past for years but only recently been in to eat. I’ll definitely be back. It’s wheelchair accessible, a real bonus. Very, very quiet, hubby and I were the only diners. Looked like they did some takeaway, but the atmosphere and kinda dinky dining room suited us perfectly. We took our own drinks, corkage was reasonable. I usually try to judge a new Chinese restaurant by two things — the spring rolls and beef with black bean. The spring rolls were hot, freshly HOME MADE (Good Lord!!) and beautiful. Definitely not greasy and well priced. There was some cabbage, but they weren’t 90% full of it like most places. The dipping sauce could have used some work tho. I’ll be ordering them again however! We were disappointed with the hot and sour soup. Way too thick I thought and not sour. Beef and black bean….pretty good! Very tender, well cooked beef. The black bean sauce could be ‘bean-ier’ or more intense, with maybe a touch more vegetable variety? But I’m being picky. It was good. The star for me was the duck with plum sauce. It was excellent and it’s a fave of mine. Really well cooked with very crispy skin and tender meat. An awesome plum sauce, too. Sweet but not overly so and sticky in the best way. Oooooh yes I’ll have THAT again, thank you! The older lady who looked after us did so wonderfully. She asked if we did want chilli with the beef, which I really appreciated having just had some dental work done. When the beef arrived it not only looked (and of course tasted) great, it was well spiced and seasoned. Thank you for checking with us. The cost of the meal was much cheaper than I thought it was going to be. I’m definitely going back soon, thank you for a lovely time, there’s tons more I’m looking forward to trying. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. The lady was happy and obliging, The restaurant was clean, and we had sweet and sour pork - delicious, crispy pork loin - scrumptious, and beef satay - again delicious. All in all, a great meal and great value. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Don't judge this book by it's cover. Well worth the visit. We will be back

Quick and polite service, will definitely be becoming a regular honey chicken was the best I had! Husband loved the fried rice!

We had the restaurant to ourselves. Service was friendly and efficient, food was full of flavour.. it BYO alcohol drinks also,which we didnt know but thats ok.

Probably the best freshest Chinese food in town run by a lovely caring family its truly a hidden gem.
